b.dexter cooley is a creative technologist, artist, programmer, musician, and writer currently living north of Boston. His work focuses on finding new ways of seeing, hearing, and experiencing the world through the visualization of abstract concepts such as data, complex processes, and emotions. He currently works as a Visualization Software Engineer at the Broad Institute.
With early roots in the practice of data visualization, b.dexter has carried his interest in the complex and abstract to new forms of expression. As a musician, b.dexter incorporates the ethos of his visual practice in new ways through procedural songwriting, generative music, and sound design.
