A recording of a panel discussion I participated in covering how we can blend art and science to process our grief.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion. The panel was held to commemorate the closing of the art gallery exhibit [Marking Lives COVID-19](https://www.elizabethawalt.com/marking-lives-covid19) by Elizabeth Awalt.
Along with Liz, I also spoke with physician and researcher Roby Bhattacharyya on the role that science communication has played in the pandemic.
I don't typically share "work" (ie dayjob) related items on this notepad, but I feel particularly proud of this one. Unlike some of my other work, it blends my artistic practice of making abstract things more visible with my current professional practice of working with data.
The talk was recorded and can be watched below. You can read more about the event [here](https://www.broadinstitute.org/community/art-and-science-connection-broad). If the embed isn't showing below, you can find the talk on Youtube [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu6xVRD7DlQ).
